Private Duty Nursing allows parents of medically fragile children to have qualified, pediatric trained nurses in their home to care for their child up to 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. At MedCare, our RN supervisors work closely with you and your child's physician to determine the appropriate nursing schedule and treatment plan for your child's unique pediatric nursing services.

This ensures that you can work, take care of necessary errands, and even take a moment for self-care without wondering if your child will be okay. Our nurses are always totally focused on their patients, including those with very complex medical needs.
In addition to long-term care, MedCare also provides short-term skilled nursing visits which provide teaching and support to parents of children being discharged from the hospital with trach care, G-Button/NGT/G-Tube care, feeding pumps, and oxygen and apnea monitors.
