What is Physical Therapy?
Pediatric physical therapists aim to improve a child's balance, coordination, endurance, motor development, range or motions, and strength. They do this through a variety of therapy techniques, which include: therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, aquatic therapy, massage, manual therapy, orthotics and adaptive equipment management and caregiver/patient education.
How does Physical Therapy benefit my child?
Each child has special needs related to his or her condition, which means no two patients undergo the exact same therapy treatments. MedCare works with you and your child to craft a customized Physical Therapy treatment regimen that addresses your child's most pressing health and mobility concerns.
