We’re pleased to have offered our respite program to countless grateful families through the years. The Respite Night is a free service provided by MedCare Volunteers who are committed to helping children with special needs. Thankful families have benefited from this wonderful opportunity to get some much-needed personal time to catch a movie, run errands, or even have a special date!
The night includes a wide variety of games, arts and crafts, movies and special attention from our caring staff of nurses, therapists and trained volunteers. The program is for children ages infant – adolescence, and siblings are included. Children are grouped with Team Leaders based on age, special needs and other family members attending. For more information on future respite nights, visit our Events Calendar!
*At this time we are unable to take patients that are trach/vent dependent or children that may require the administration of medication.
